Art Without Limits: 100 Hands is a collaborative art project bringing together 100 artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create one massive, unified work of art.
Each participating artist will create an individual piece of work in their own style, using their own ideas, choices, and creative voice. Those 100 unique pieces will then come together as one large-scale installation, demonstrating what becomes possible when individual expression is given space to belong to something bigger.
But this project is about more than creating one massive piece of art. It's about visibility, recognition, and changing the way artists with disabilities are seen in their communities. Every participant is an artist and a contributor to the finished work, and each will be individually credited for their role in creating it.
The project will also be guided by artists with disabilities who will serve as advisors, helping shape decisions about the artwork, exhibition, and overall direction of the project.
One hundred artists. One hundred unique ideas. One extraordinary work of art.
Because every artist deserves to be seen.
